Recap: Social Media? If You Want To Be "On" - Get Going And Make A Strategy!

Benedicte Finnema, Business Developer at Biooffice AS, previously spoke at AIPBW about Knowing How and When to Say No. This time she presented her ideas on how to say Yes to what the current world of social media offers to us.

Benedicte admitted that she is an on–line addict who believes that everything is about technology these days. For example, when one wants to find a new job, the traditional way of reading advertisements by companies and submitting applications, in her opinion, gives only a small chance to find it. She suggested to focus on the social media and its networking possibilities instead.

Life is a journey

AIPBW Board member and Internal Communications responsible Natalie Folge was born in Freiburg, in the south–western corner of Germany where the German culture mixes with influences of nearby France and Switzerland. At home the international atmosphere was amplified by Natalie's mother being a translator as well as summers spent in France and Spain. "I had a nice and protected life growing up in Freiburg. But I was always curious to see the world and live abroad.", she says.

New AIPBW logo to be introduced

As mentioned at the March Members' meeting, AIPBW is about to have a new logo. It was chosen through a logo competition we had in late 2011. The winner of the competition and thus designer of the logo is Kristin Kahrik from Estonia, who since February 2012 also serves as AIPBW Board member, responsible for Marketing and PR.
